An exquisite French antique perpetual calendar from the early 1900s. The large desk calendar has been created from silver plated metal and features an ornate decorative engraving of the painting "Le Denicheur" by Francois Boucher. The calendar is supported by a wooden frame with a stand for displaying on a desk.
There are 4 small knobs for adjusting the date, day and month which have been printed in French on celluloid disks.
The front plate features the names of the artist F. Boucher and the name of the engraver B. Wicker.
The reverse side of the wooden stand has an original label from the silversmith Langlois Orfevre in the French city of Marseille.

The antique perpetual calendar is in very good condition and in working order.
There is some minor tarnishing and plating loss to the frame and knobs.
The printed numbers and letters on the date disks are worn and scratched in places.
