An antique French glass apothecary jar dating to the late 1800s.
The bottle has been created from blown glass and features a gold and green paper label which has been printed with the original contents: "Safran Oriental".
The reverse side of the bottle has additional labels printed with information for the prescription of the Safran and a ticket with the selling price per weight.
The antique pharmacy jar has it's original tin lid.

The glass bottle is in good antique condition with signs of age including marks to the interior of the glass and wear and discoloration to the paper labels.
The metal lid has overall wear including flakes to the paint and light rusting.
